 Getting there

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is located along the Kampala – Gulu highway towards the famous Murchison Falls National Park.

By road, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is around 176km north of Uganda’s capital city; Kampala. It takes approximately 3hours while driving along the Kampala- Wobulenzi- Nakasongola road. From Kampala via Masindi, it is about 169km and it takes about 2hours. Branch off at Nakitoma Trading Centre where you will drive for a about 7 km to the Headquarters of the sanctuary. If one used public transport, he can get off at Nakitoma Trading Centre and get a boda to the sanctuary.
